Reads a room, doesn't force one

Biography
Sixteen years behind Hamburg bars taught Alexej how a room works. How a floor shifts at 2am. How one wrong track can undo an hour of work in about four seconds.
He started DJing in 2023. Late. While everyone else was already buying records, he was still cutting limes and pulling pints. Turns out none of it was wasted: his sets live between Indie Dance, Tech House and Bass House, built slow, melodic, and made to actually land.
In 2025 he founded Frame Kollektiv, a Hamburg collective that has grown to more than 30 DJs and producers, from small showcases at Frau Holle to open airs.
He's poured a thousand drinks he won't remember and built sets for rooms that definitely will. Comfortable solo or B2B, in a club booth or on an open-air stage. Same instinct either way.

Happy to hold a slot alone or trade back-to-back. The set matters more than whose name is on the poster.
Outdoor slots through Frame's own summer series, plus rooftop and boat dates on Ibiza. Daylight and no fog machine still works fine.
Part of Frame Kollektiv, a 30+ member Hamburg collective. Useful if you want a B2B, a showcase or a full night.

Highlights
The collective
Not a brand. Not a booking agency. Just people who care.
Frame started as an idea between friends: that Hamburg's dancefloor deserved more than interchangeable lineups and recycled formats. Today it's 30+ DJs and producers across Indie Dance, Tech House and House, running its own nights, open airs and B2B formats.
The set doesn't end when the DJ's done. It ends when the room's ready.
Tech rider
Note: No vinyl, no drama. Just make sure the USB ports work. He's dealt with worse behind a bar. If anything is unavailable, get in touch beforehand.

Alexej is a Hamburg DJ who spent sixteen years behind the bar before stepping behind the decks in 2023. His sets move between Indie Dance, Tech House and Bass House: groovy, energetic and a little unpredictable. He is the founder of Frame Kollektiv, a Hamburg collective with more than 30 members.
Alexej spent sixteen years in Hamburg's nightlife, most of them behind the bar, watching how a room really works: how a floor shifts at 2am, and how one wrong track can undo an hour of work in about four seconds. He started DJing in 2023, late by most standards, and it turned out none of that time was wasted. His sets live between Indie Dance, Tech House and Bass House, groovy, energetic and just unpredictable enough to keep the floor guessing. He has played Hill of Dreams Festival, the Frame open airs at Altes Mädchen, the Frame Summer Closing at Villa Viva and two dates on Ibiza, and Pooca Bar and Frau Holle keep booking him again. In 2025 he founded Frame Kollektiv, a Hamburg collective of more than 30 DJs and producers.
